ABOUT

Frank Schroeder has painted for over twenty years. In recent years his work has turned toward a single terrain:

African masks, Afro-diasporic memory, and what images hold once history is pressed into them.

His work has been exhibited at the Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell, shown at PRIZM, and featured in Forbes.

BLACKPOLITICS continues that work, not a spin-off, an extension of it.

The recognition the paintings earned is the ground the objects build on.
